Trainer frame with RC receiver and 9-DoF flight controller for flight and hovering tests with the Three Bearing Swifel Duct - swivel engine with 3 bearings, 3BSD controller and brushless BEC controller for electric impellers with 90 mm diameter.
As a second step and to test the 3 Bearing Swifel Duct, a trainer frame design was developed.
It's no wonder that in the manned sector we talk about 'bed frames' - the comparison is undeniable. Just search the internet for test vehicles from the 1960s, for example in space travel. Any similarities are purely coincidental.
But seriously: The inspiration here was Eric Maglio's 3BSD carrier.
