O.S. ENGINES OS-MAX-10FSR-B

Welcome to a tour through the results of the digital restoration of this 1.76 cc glow plug engine with longitudinally finned extreme cooling head.

 

An engine type of the FSR 1.76 cc series, which I had only noticed relatively late during the restoration of the GO-KART-10-GP. This motor type was also installed there as an alternative to the OS-MAX-10FSR-C with rotated extreme cooling head.


Single-cylinder 2-stroke engine with glow plug ignition, Schnürle flushing, rotary valve crankshaft, side exhaust, crankshaft bearing as pressed-in bronze bushing, throttle carburetor with cylindrical throttle plug. Special extreme cooling head for air cooling with longitudinal ribbing made of fine die-cast aluminum.
