Graupner GO-KART-10-GP

Welcome to a tour through the results of the digital restoration of an RC go-kart from the 1980s.

The GO-KART-10 is a 1:4 scale replica of a manned on-road go-kart from the kart racing industry.

The original is equipped with a glow plug model engine O.S. MAX-10FSR-C (with round extreme cooling head). The model here was modelled with an O.S. MAX-10FSR-B, which only differs slightly in the design of the extreme cooling head. In the first model versions, a glow plug model engine originally intended for flight operations was O.S. MAX-10FSR used, in which an additional ribbed clamp cooling head was mounted in the cooling head area. A common practice in the 80s.

The original kit usually includes a driver figure that is not really scaled in terms of proportions, but has movable arms. The hands are screwed onto the steering wheel, so that the driver figure can actually make realistic-looking movements. This driver figure is not included in the digital restoration.
