The aircraft engine is the first rotary piston model engine produced in series for model making based on the principle developed by Dr. Felix Wankel.

The aircraft engine is the successor model to the OS-RE-49. Its outstanding features are its powerful running, almost complete freedom from vibration and effective sound insulation.

The 'Gold Edition' version is technically and in terms of performance data identical to the ROTARY 49-PI. It was released in 2003 in an edition of 100 units worldwide.

Historically, the newest and final version of the rotary engine series. This engine was listed on the OS line card for the first time in 2006.

The FS-20's design was robust and based on the FS-40, which was popular at the time. In the 1980s, this was probably the lightest four-stroke engine in series production.
The short-stroke layout of the FS-20 ensures a small size and compact dimensions.
