IT'S DONE!
The digital restoration of the Graupner BELL-47G was the most extensive project at CADDICTED to date.
The first models were purchased second-hand in around 2007, with the aim of actually restoring them. The models delivered were in a desolate condition. Poorly assembled, certainly never flown and the metal parts were very badly corroded. For professional and private reasons, the parts then disappeared into a box marked 'Later'.
In 2022, original kits in individual parts were suddenly available via a well-known auction platform. Condition virtually 'New Out of the Box'. Original condition from early 1976. That gave me the idea of digitally restoring this childhood dream of mine.
Now, at the end of February 2025, the final results are available. There are a total of five
blueprint pages, a lot of
CAD images in different views, which I hope will be enjoyable to look at.

That was actually a pre-Christmas present from David.
I've been following David's YouTube channel for a few years, especially intensively in the months when I spent most of my free time digitally restoring the model engines. As my website grew bit by bit, it gave me the idea to write to David directly and ask him what he thought of my website and whether he might want to make a YouTube clip. In November 2024, we had our first team meeting and I promised him that I would send him some CAD posters and blueprints for a video. Since he was planning a contribution specifically about the O.S. ENGINES OS-FS-20 and I had exactly the right media for it, I had a few posters printed, packed the whole thing in a package and sent it to him in the USA.
The really great surprise (David, thank you very much!) was that after the package arrived a day later, the first YouTube video was already finished and then went online the following day. Wow.
The link can be found on the link page and here again:

Through my work on the CAD images and the blueprints, I have made some contacts with really great people in Europe and the USA. That gave me the idea of creating a separate website for links. Regardless of any SEO strategies for search engine optimization, I find it helpful to establish contacts with the associated websites bit by bit via link lists.
These are currently the first beginnings, I will expand them as needed and as the opportunity arises. If you have any suitable links to recommend, please feel free to write
to me.

In October 2024 the time had finally come:
The first illustrated images in full UHD resolution are now available for two selected models GO-KART-10-GP and OS-RE-49-PI-II. With this I am breaking new ground in the CADDICTED media landscape.
I have always been fascinated by cars, airplanes or motorcycles that were drawn in comics with precision and rich detail. Here you can now find the first results based on the models and engines designed entirely in CAD. I hope to inspire other people with this.
Here, as with the blueprints that have to be edited in Adobe Illustrator, I loaded the raw images into Adobe Photoshop this time, recolored them and added the appropriate flowing text. I had little contact or use for Photoshop up to now, but now the right task was available. Super exciting, even if I have only used or got to know a fraction of the functions. Well, the next projects are already in the pipeline.
If you like it, have comments, suggestions or advice, please feel free to write to me. I look forward to hearing from you!

In 2021, I was inspired by YouTube channels to design a swiveling fan engine myself and to create a design in CAD. The result was a total of 3 construction stages:
The 3BSD (3 Bearing Swifel Duct) itself including a flange for a 90 mm impeller, an associated trainer frame for hover flight tests and a version of a wing trainer for real flight tests.
The plastic parts can all be manufactured entirely with a 3D laminate printer (in my case an Ultimaker 2+). For the electronic control, I used a Renesas R8 controller family that I am familiar with, for which I had already written extensive C libraries.
To date, I have created CAD images for the 3 construction stages. Related blueprints and some interesting illustrations are still planned for the future.

New product page for a glossary in German with the first abbreviations, acronyms and explanations.
The aim is to create a lexicon with relevant explanations of terms from the areas of general technology, model technology, CAD design, standards for standard parts and other potentially helpful topics over time.
Suggestions are also welcome, if you like, please contact me here. Thanks in advance!

Product page for the Graupner WING-MASTER-10 has been supplemented with a completely redesigned blueprint.
The WING-MASTER-10 is a 1:7 scale replica of an ultralight aircraft. The kit was available from 1984. The Graupner order number at the time was 4910.
The ultralight is controlled via elevator and rudder and has the option of controlling a throttle carburetor via an additional rudder machine. The recommended motor is the OS-MAX-10FSR.

New product page for the Graupner WING-MASTER-10-GP, one of my first motorized aircraft models from 1984. This is a scale replica of an ultralight aircraft in 1:7 with a recommended engine of the OS-MAX-10FSR.
Rendering and blueprint images are in progress. The ultralight is controlled via elevator and rudder and has the option of controlling a throttle carburetor via an additional rudder machine. The recommended engine is the OS-MAX-10FSR.
I was one of the first customers to buy the model and managed to get it into the air after a few attempts. However, the flight characteristics were not very good-natured, not suitable for a beginner in motor flying and ground take-offs were practically impossible because the nose gear could not be controlled. Once the model was in the air, it was surprisingly fast, and slow overflights were accordingly difficult. For these reasons, the model disappeared into the basement until 2014 and then saw the light of day again in stages (2014 / 2019) as part of the digital restoration (although without a pilot dummy). Actually, however, the aim was to derive an electric version with more good-natured flight characteristics and more 'scale'. Let's see what comes of it ...

New product page for photo calendars, which are referred to as 'Passion Calendars' in analogy to the Passionbooks. For 2025 there is now the CADDICTED - Passion Calendar 2025 - O.S. Wankel and the CADDICTED - Passion Calendar 2025 - Blueprints. Both in A3 landscape format.
For fans of desk calendars, I have created the O.S. Wankel Passioncalendar in A6 portrait format. What I liked about the various online printing providers is that they are delivered in a beautiful wooden stand. And the cards can also be used individually as bookmarks or similar.

New product page created for the O.S. ENGINES
OS-MAX-50SX-H-HYPER including
blueprint and
renderings.
I first flew this engine many years ago as an upgrade in my Hirobo GPH349. The engine always ran like clockwork and gave the mid-size helicopter significantly more 'oomph'. As I write these lines, I have many fond memories of great flying days and bright blue skies.
I implemented the engine in CAD as part of the digital restoration of my Henseleit Three-Dee-MP-50 helicopter, that was back in 2018. In my eyes, Jan Henseleit is one of THE RC-helicopter designers par excellence. It is absolutely remarkable what great machines he has created in the course of his professional activities. Unfortunately, I never got to fly the different types as much as I would have liked... but such is life. ;o)

Product page for the HB-25H by Helmut Bernhardt Feinmechanik created including blueprint and renderings. This is the modified version of the HB-25 with an extreme cooling head for helicopter models. This engine was the series recommendation for the Graupner RC-helicopter Bell-47G.
According to my research (rclineforum), the Bernhardt Feinmechanik company was based in Metten near Deggendorf and specialized in the manufacture of precision mechanical components such as gears and drives. The owner died at the end of the eighties and the machine tools for engine production were sold to the USA.
In addition to the engines, Bernhardt also produced the first helicopter mechanics for Graupner. This also enabled the first world records for model helicopters to be flown. I remember pictures in older Graupner catalogs with the world record flight over the English Channel or the altitude world record in the Alps at the time. If you have any more information or images, please feel free to contact
me here!

Product page for the OS-MAX-10FSR-C with added blueprint. The special production of this 1.76 cc glow-ignition engine equipped with an extreme cooling head was the recommended engine for the Graupner go-kart GO-KART-10-GP.
This product page is now COMPLETE - YESSSS and therefore this project has been finished. Unless one of the readers would like a few more additions, then write to
me here.

New German product pages for the O.S. ENGINES - OS-RE-49-PI-II in the standard version and limited GOLD EDITION. Rendering images, technical data and blueprints, researched and created between January 2022 (CAD restoration) and March 2023 (blueprints).
It really wasn't easy to get hold of one of the few original collector's items, but I finally found one in England from an ambitious engine collector and dealer. There were no noticeable differences in appearance or performance data, so the rendering was just about the coloring. Successful, right?

New German product pages for the O.S. ENGINES - OS-RE-49-PI in the standard version and limited GOLD EDITION. Rendering images, technical data and blueprints, researched and created between October 2018 (CAD restoration) and March 2023 (blueprints). The OS-RE-49-PI was the starting point and inspiration for the topic of digital restoration. And the basis for the first large-format printed blueprint for my study in 100x70 cm format. What can I say...simply better than something you just bought? Definitely!
