Life is a project. Or at least filled with as many and as interesting projects as possible. Here you can get an overview of all the projects at CADDICTED.
Here I am dealing with the digital restoration of technically selected models, mainly from my youth from around 1975 onwards. I built and flew or drove most of the models back then.
In addition to the focus on the blueprints and CAD images or renderings, many parts are designed in such a way that they can in principle be created using 3D printing.
The digital restoration of model engines marked the start of CADDICTED a few years ago and the intensive work on technical designs, blueprints and rendering.
Here you will get an overview of different engine types and technologies as well as the corresponding generated images.
In parallel with the digital restoration, our own model designs have also been created in recent years, which can be viewed here.
Especially a replica of a swashplate engine of the F-35 (3BSD - 3 bearing swifel duct), 3D-printable with a laminate 3D printer, may seem interesting.
Originating from the ambition to design our own model building electronics and to incorporate them into our own models, components have been created that are dedicated to readers interested in electronics.
This includes an electronic control system for a swivel jet engine or a display box. More topics will follow...
BOB stands for breakout board and BRICK for brick-shaped pluggable electronic modules, primarily with microcontrollers.
In this area, you will gradually find helpful designs that may be of interest to prototype developers in the electronics sector. In the 'Prototyper's Paradise', whether you are an old hand or still at school, you may find one or two useful ideas that can be helpful for your own projects.
